Xavier Elementary: Preschool – 8th Grade
"Whosoever trusteth in the Lord, happy is he." - Proverbs 16:20
Trusting God allows us to receive guidance to do what is right for us. When we are filled with faith, fear goes away . . . we can relax. . . believing things will turn out right for us. Faith is trusting that God's love is always with us and we are never alone.
Thank youfor visiting the Xavier Catholic School website. Xavier Elementary School (pre-K through 8th grade) is located in Leavenworth, Kansas, and in partnership with Immaculata High School, the two schools make up the Leavenworth Regional Catholic School System. In 2008 we proudly celebrated 150 years of Catholic education.
As we move closer and closer to reaching our goal of building a new gymnasium and commons area, we continue to ask for your support in achieving this end. With the new year comes new opportunities to make a contribution and help spread the word- please watch and see what great things your previous contributions have accomplished and hear about what great things we have planned for the future.
We welcome you to our website and to learn more about our school. Please feel free to call our Administration Office at (913) 682-7801 at any time if you have questions or would like more information about our school.
Xavier Elementary consists of two campuses: Xavier Preschool and Xavier Grade School (K-8th Grade). Children attend Xavier from Leavenworth, Lansing, Ft. Leavenworth (including children of International Officers posted at Ft. Leavenworth), and surrounding communities including Platte City, Kansas City, Basehor, and Bonner Springs. The enrollment at Xavier Elementary School is approximately 370 students.
The Curriculum is designed to lead students to a positive self-image, integration of faith and life, service to others, and the development of basic and special skills in a Catholic atmosphere. (The complete curriculum can be found at www.archkckcs.org)
At Xavier, people who put Christian values first surround children. Catholic education is a vocation for our teachers and administrators.
The Leavenworth Special Education Cooperative, which serves all schools in Leavenworth County, assists students with learning disabilities and administers the gifted programs. The National School Lunch Program is available for Grades K-8.
School uniforms are required in Grades K-8. Before and after school care is available for all sites.
